Nintendo's Marc Franklin told Gamepro that there would be several titles announced at E3 that core gamers would be interested in. I'm not expecting any real surprises, like Halo DS, or Nintendo announcing that they've re-secured Civ Rev for Wii, but Kid Icarus is the internet's worst kept secret, and Animal Crossing has been expected for some time now. IGN has repeatedly brought up their wishes for Pikmin 3 on the Nintendo Voicechat podcast. And who knows, maybe Nintendo views Mario Sluggers as Hardcore (although scoff if you will, somewhere there are hundreds of plasma TVs gathered together in prayer vigil for stronger wrist straps).
