Morrowind is our favorite rendition of that style, but anytime you give the player more power and decision making ability, we're in favor of it. Add to that a memorable and engaging environment, and we're sold. Dead Rising was one such game on the 360 in 2006, and now, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop, a pseudo port of Dead Rising, is bringing that open world to the Wii. What world is that they're opening up to you? You're stuck in a shopping mall in a small town over-run with zombies. Yes, Capcom does love zombies. How do you survive? Well everything in the mall is at your disposal. Running low on health? Hit the food court (but try to be the diner, not the meal). Need a weapon? WiiHD recommends the hardware store. In the meantime, as a freelance journalist, you're doing more than just surviving; you're investigating. How did this happen? You'll collect evidence and piece together a story that reveals the awful truth in true B movie style. WiiHD also looks forward to the visuals comparison between the Wii and 360.
