Well, Capcom listened. In addition to that trailer being a lot more pleasant, they released on-floor gameplay footage, and a bag of new screenshots. The trailer is gorgeous, and if you don't want Monster Hunter 3 after watching it, even a little bit, WiiHD recommends Vitameatavegamin to help cure whatever ails you. Also, WiiHD has been tweaking our gallery system over the past few weeks, as you may or may not have noticed. Hunting Monsters at TGS
The recent MH3 videos that have released, are they of the multiplayer online, cuz thats what it looks like.
And offnote, at first I was thinking about getting this game, but now maybe it looks as a must have…?
I haven't had the chance to play any past Monster Hunters, but from what I've read, yes, the online seems to be the lion's share of the gameplay. I'm not sure about these newest videos, if perhaps they had a local network set up to simulate what online play would be like or not.
I'm definitely tuned into Monster Hunter myself, but my recommendation is, unless you know the series, to keep a close eye out for previews and hands-on to get a feel for the series.
